Pavlov is a multiplayer shooter for SteamVR and it is one of the top-selling FPS of VR and we agree. This is one of the most popular games and one that people come back to and never get tired of VR.

Should you buy it?

Pavlov VR is one of the top-selling VR games out and one of the first I tried. You’ll have no trouble finding a game since the player count is always high. People love this game and are playing at all times of the day.

You don’t need a crazy graphics card for this game that even a GTX 960 will be sufficient to play. The game still feels like any other VR game since it is immersive and gives the CSGO feeling.

The control scheme is easy to grasp although some people do complain about the motion sickness from smooth turn/run.

The firearms function accurately, but I can’t say as to a realistic feel. The game is $10 and if you have VR already, get it.

This game isn’t just Counter-Strike VR, it has many different modes like gun-game, TTT, deathmatch, team deathmatch and other community game modes like prison break and zombies. I find myself playing these community games much more than regular TDM. Not to mention the fact that it is being actively developed so we see new content regularly.

While the game has a competitive scene, it shines in casual gameplay. I’ve negotiated with enemies around corners and made truces that last a whole game. VR truly has a feeling that can’t be described to someone that hasn’t used it, Pavlov makes great use of this feeling.

It took me a couple of hours to get fully used to the game and master the controls. But after this learning curve, the game gets great and will give you a great experience. My favorite game mode is the hunting-rifle only or knifing only since everyone is always laughing and having a great time.

Overall, I completely recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a good FPS. If you have ever enjoyed CSGO, this game is definitely for you.
